Renting a Bus is Fun

Not only is renting a bus fun, but it is cheaper and more earth-friendly than taking a bunch of separate cars. It’s also a lot less stressful for everyone involved.

When many people are going to the same destination, it’s possible to make the journey just as enjoyable as the destination at the end.

Reasons to Rent a Bus

When thinking about a road trip, bus rental probably doesn’t jump to the front of a person’s mind. But when there is a group of people involved it is a whole lot easier than trying to get 30 or 40 people to agree on travel arrangements when all they have to do is show up.

A good example is when planning a family reunion at the beach. Perhaps there is a guest list of 35 people. These people all live in midwestern cities near to each other. They would like to rent a beach house for the reunion. But everybody has their own ideas on the best route.

Rather than having each family take their own car to the beach, the people could all meet in a central location so that no one has to do much driving. Then they could all assemble on the bus and begin their celebration before they even get to the beach.

Creative Comforts

Buses these days aren’t like the school buses we all rode as children. When planning a trip, road trip bus rental is like having a party on the way to your destination.

Many rental buses these days are more like comfortable campers. Some have a table where a group of people can play cards. They all have soft comfy seats that recline for when people get sleepy.

Some have a lounge area with a sofa where break-out groups can visit independently. Everyone is free to move around during a bus trip, so people can catch up with relatives they may not have seen for several years. When they get tired of one person, they can go sit next to someone else.

Most travel rental buses come with a built-in restroom; that way no one has to waste time so that other people can take a bathroom break.

Almost all rental buses come with free Wi-Fi. The kids can play their computer games while traveling, and adults can catch up on their email. They even have a 110-volt plugin at each seat so that people can re-charge any of their electronic devices.

Bus travel can take away one travel aggravation—no lost luggage. Buses come with an under-the-bus storage area where each person places their own luggage and then retrieves it. No way for it to get rerouted to Siberia.

Some rental buses have DVD, radio, and CD options. Some can even arrange a wheelchair lift if needed. So no one has to be left out.

Another great amenity is freedom. People have the freedom to walk around as much as they want so they don’t get restless and don’t feel cooped up the way people feel in a car. People can stretch their legs whenever they feel like it.

Safety

If your group of people is a little on the rowdy side, having a company driver can keep everyone safe. Plus, company drivers are experienced with getting a large vehicle around in highway traffic.

Not driving allows everyone in the group to arrive at the destination well-rested and ready to enjoy themselves.

Smaller Groups

A person doesn’t have to have a huge group to rent a bus for a road trip. Maybe a family with 2 teenagers and 2 married adult children in their family would like to go on vacation.

Some bus rental companies these days are renting out million-dollar buses that belong to celebrities. These are the same buses that celebrities take on their tours.

Celebrity buses spare no expense when it comes to luxury. A family can have six bunk beds and a queen-size bed in the back. All the materials used in the construction of the inside of the bus are of the highest quality and luxury.

Earth Friendly

Typically when a family plans a gathering like a trip to go gambling in Atlantic City, each person takes their own car.

But if that family would rent a bus for their road trip, much less air pollution would be generated. One passenger car emits 89 pounds of CO2 per 100 miles. But a full bus only emits 14 pounds of CO2 per 100 miles.

What Is 3PL Fulfillment — Benefits and Downsides

C:\Users\dChimes MEDIA\Downloads\3PL-Definition-How-Third-Party-Logistics-Companies-Work.png

You’ve heard great stories of how many regular folks make tons of money via ecommerce stores. Now you decide to get into it. You’ve studied the model and have come to the conclusion that you don’t want to join the price wars that’s a regular feature of the dropshipping model.

So after much research, you settle for a number of products that you believe will sell based on your market analysis (Click here to read more on how to conduct effective market analysis). Then you set up shop and, amazingly, after tweaking your ads, you start getting a decent number of orders. Then gradually, you discover that your basement can’t hold your inventory anymore and that every available space in your home is becoming a warehouse.

And as if that isn’t bad enough, you now don’t have any time for yourself or loved ones. You are dealing with quite a lot: You have to handle queries from customers, take orders, pick them up, package them, send them over to the delivery company and…

No, there has to be a better way, right?

Yes, there is…

3PL Fulfillment – A Brief Overview

When you need a company that will help you handle those logistical nightmares that we call warehousing, keeping inventory, picking and packaging orders, and shipping them to your customers, you are talking about the services provided by a third-party logistics fulfillment service (that’s the same as a 3PL fulfillment company).

This shouldn’t be confused with a drop shipping company. While a drop shipper also does everything a third party logistics fulfillment company does, there’s a fundamental difference…

A drop shipping company buys and stocks inventory at its expense. It owns the stock. You, the merchant, only enjoys an arrangement that allows you to list the products the dropshipper has in stock on your store. When a customer purchases from you, you place an order at the dropshipper’s site, provide the customer’s shipping details and the dropshipper delivers it to your customer as if it was directly from you.

But in the case of a 3PL service, you buy all inventory with your own money. They ONLY help you warehouse them, process, package and deliver to your customer. But at every point, you own the products they are simply handling for you.

C:\Users\De Vine\Downloads\fulfillment-services.jpg

The Benefits

The benefits of using a third party logistics company for all your fulfillment are clear. Let’s talk about a few of them…

1. It frees you up to focus on the things that are your core competencies. If you run a store and have done your due diligence, you’ve taken time to master traffic generation, conversion and customer support, among other things. With this major time-consuming aspect off your list, you can concentrate on these areas.

2. You enjoy a higher quality of service. Anything handled by professionals is usually much better than that handled by amateurs no matter how great their intentions are. Your logistics as an ecommerce store owner aren’t different. People who live and breathe fulfillment will definitely do it better than you. For your customers, they enjoy a much higher quality of service.

3. You can enjoy your business more. You simply can’t enjoy your work if it eats up every waking hour and leaves you thinking about unfinished task even when you’re lying down. As people who run ecommerce stores, we understand how having other people take care of inventory, order processing, packaging and shipping can make the business something you run with joy.

4. It helps you make more money. If you can focus on the core drivers of sales in your business, you’ll definitely make more money. There’s nothing complicated about that, right? Visit https://3pllinks.com/third-party-logistics-provider-save-business-money/ to see how this helps you make more money by cutting down your costs.

The Downsides

It’s important that we point out that there are a few things that might NOT seat well with some people about using a third party for their logistics. Here are they are…

1. You incur additional cost. The service provider you engage is running the business in order to turn a profit and so this means that you’d pay extra to enjoy the convenience. Depending on how big your operations are, it might eat too deep into your profits. So think twice before going this route if you’re just starting out.

2. It ties down your capital. In contrast, dropshipping allows you to enjoy all those benefits without having to pay a dime before your customer has actually purchased the product from you.

Conclusion

NOT all businesses can use the dropshipping model in order to take a hands-off approach to their e-commerce business. For such businesses, using a third party that’s been proven to handle logistics efficiently is definitely a smart way to move their business forward.

Here’s What Will Happen to Your Pension if You Plan to Retire Abroad

brown fountain pen on notebook

Many people look forward to retirement as an opportunity to live comfortably. And for those who want to make the most out of their savings or pensions, living abroad is a common consideration. Some countries are ideal for retirees, especially when it comes to affording a simple lifestyle. But, transferring to a foreign country also means you need to transfer your source of funds. As such, you can either leave your pension fund in your home country or take the money with you.

Accessing your money while living abroad

If you leave your pension fund in your home country, you might be able to access your funds if the provider allows it. The good thing about this option is that you can take advantage of all pension schemes available in your country. Depending on the guidelines, your provider may not allow direct payment to a foreign bank account. Even if they can, there are exchange rate fees and other charges that will apply.

An alternative would be to cash in your pension and put the money in a bank account in your home country. You can then access the funds while living abroad. If you open a foreign bank account, transferring your money will be less of a hassle.

Should you transfer your pension abroad?

Having an overseas pension is another choice, as long as your pension provider allows it. You need to check if the pension scheme is qualified, and you also need to verify if taxes will apply. Similar to transferring your money, there may be fees and charges that apply. As such, the transfer could significantly diminish the amount you get when you retire.

Instead of transferring your pension directly, what you can do is consider offshore investments. Nonetheless, you need to be aware of the risks. A financial adviser can help you assess your current financial circumstances and determine if making an offshore investment is the best move for you.

Paying taxes when you transfer your pension abroad

Even if you live abroad and bring your pension fund with you, you still have tax obligations to your home country. In addition to that, you’ll also need to pay taxes in your current residence. If you live in a country with a tax agreement to your home country, it may eliminate the possibility of paying taxes twice on your pension. So, before choosing a country where you want to retire, you need to thoroughly verify tax rules and how they will affect you financially.

Getting the help you need

While planning for retirement abroad, you’ll need all the expert help you can get. There are services that specialise in helping pensioners who are considering living abroad. These services are either private or public, hence there’s no shortage of information if you exhaust all available resources.

Moreover, you can hire a fund manager or a financial adviser to take care of all the technical matters. Make sure that you choose a specialist from a reputable firm. If possible, get an adviser from your home country and one from the country where you plan to retire.

Do You Need a Visitor Visa?

Typically, individuals who wish to enter the U.S. will be required to obtain a visitor visa if they intend to stay temporarily for tourism or business purposes. However, some visitors may qualify for the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) that enables them to stay for 90 days without a visa.

To determine whether individuals qualify for the program, it’s important to understand the different types of visitor visas and the circumstances that warrant a waiver.

The Types of Visitor Visas

When foreigners want to gain entry into the country as visitors they typically need to obtain a visitor visa. The specific type of visitor visa will depend on the individual’s reason for entering the U.S.

Business (B-1) Visas

Foreigners will want to obtain a B-1 visitor visa if they are in the country for business purposes. These purposes may include consulting with business associates, settling an estate, negating contracts, or attending a convention or conference for business, education, scientific, or professional reasons.

Tourism (B-2) Visas

If individuals want to come to the U.S. for tourism-related purposes, they will need to obtain a B-2 tourist visa. These visas are reserved for foreigners visiting for tourism, holidays or vacations, visits with family or friends, medical care, participation in social events, participating as unpaid amateur performers in sports or other events, or enrollment in brief recreational unaccredited studies.

Other Types of Visas

Individuals will need to seek another type of visa if they want to enter the U.S. for other reasons. Other nonimmigrant or immigrant visas will apply if individuals wish to study, find work, participate in paid performances, or live in the U.S. It’s also important to note that individuals coming to the U.S. for birth tourism won’t qualify for visitor visas.

What Is the Visa Waiver Program?

For some individuals traveling to the U.S., it may be possible to enter without a visitor visa through the Visa Waiver Program. Developed by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the State Department, citizens from 39 listed countries can use this program to travel to the U.S. for either tourism or business for up to 90 days without obtaining a visitor visa.

The visit is done in exchange for allowing U.S. nationals and citizens to travel to the same 39 countries for the equivalent amount of time without requiring a tourism or business visa.

Exceptions to the Visa Waiver Program

While individuals from the 39 listed countries are permitted to enter the U.S. for tourism or business without a visitor visa, there are exceptions. First, nationals from these countries won’t qualify for the program if they have traveled to or been present in Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Syria, Somalia, Yemen, or North Korea on or following March 1, 2011, with some exceptions. Nationals from these countries will also be unable to enter without a visitor visa if they are also nationals of Iraq, Iran, Syria, North Korea, or Sudan.

Individuals can visit the U.S. Customs and Border Protection website for more details about VWP and apply if they qualify. Otherwise, they may need to apply for a visitor visa.

What To Do When You Wreck Your Rental Car

Drivers who are in a car accident in a rental car may face additional financial repercussions than those who are driving their own vehicle because of the additional risk the rental car company takes when renting out the vehicle. This is true even if the driver was not at fault for the accident. Taking the right precautions before and after a crash can help drivers avoid unnecessary expenses and legal implications.

Drivers Need to Consider Insurance Before Renting a Car

Insurance is critical for rental car drivers. Drivers need to have their own personal car insurance, which covers their liability in the crash. In fact, to protect themselves, many rental car companies require proof of personal car insurance before they will rent a vehicle to a driver. However, drivers may not have full coverage on their policies for damage to rental vehicles.

Most rental companies also offer loss damage waivers and collision damages waivers. These supplement the driver’s insurance company and take away the liability if the car is damaged in a crash.

Finally, credit card companies often offer insurance coverage for vehicles the cardholder rents with the coverage. This coverage varies but it can provide an additional layer of protection.

First Actions After a Crash

If a driver in a rental car is involved in a crash, the steps to take after are the same as the steps taken after a crash involving the driver’s own vehicle. First, the drivers and others involved in the crash need to make sure everyone’s medical needs are met and the appropriate emergency professionals are contacted. Drivers should share their insurance information with others involved in the crash and avoid making unnecessary statements that could imply fault.

As soon as possible, all affected parties should call their insurance providers to discuss a car accident claim. Doing this soon after the crash allows the insurance company to start collecting the data and details about the accident.

Next, the rental car driver needs to call the rental company. The rental company has a role in handling recovery, repairs, and replacement of their vehicle. They may also need to provide insurance information to the driver.

When Is the Driver Liable For Damages?

If a driver of a rental car is guilty of causing an accident, such as in the case of distracted driving and cell phone use, he or she may be liable for the accident. As long as the driver has liability insurance, he or she will not be personally liable for injury or property damage to others in the accident. However, because he or she does not own the car, he or she may have to repay the rental company for the car.

This is where car insurance coverage for rental cars is so important. Collision insurance can protect the driver from this financial responsibility, as the insurance will cover the cost to replace the vehicle. For this reason, rental car drivers are best served by checking insurance coverage before signing for a rental vehicle to ensure they will not be left with a big bill after an accident.

How to Plan a Trip to Disney World: The 9 Steps to Take

Castle.jpg

It’s so easy to get overwhelmed when trying to figure out how to plan a trip to Disney World. There are so many things to consider. A good time at Disney always starts with a thorough plan.

That’s why we’ve crafted this step-by-step guide, to make your Disney planning simple and painless!

Keep reading to find out the insider tips and tricks to a magical Disney vacation.

1. Start Early

The most important thing you can do to make sure you and your family have a good time at Disney World is to start early. We cannot stress this enough: a truly magical Disney experience depends on early, thorough planning.

The parks are such a popular destination that it’s nearly impossible to show up to the park and experience the attractions you’re interested in without planning. Plus, your mealtime experience depends on early planning as well.

Start at least a year in advance!

2. Determine Your Budget

As soon as you’ve decided that you want to take a trip to Disney, decide how much you want to spend. If you can drive to Disney, you can expect to spend at least $2,000 for a trip that lasts 5 days.

That price includes lodging at an inexpensive resort, 2 days at the theme park, and quick-service dining.

The Walt Disney World website has a great resource for helping you decide on a budget ahead of time.

3. Make Reservations

Around 9-12 months before your vacation, decide what hotel reservations you would like. There are a ton of resorts in the area that you can stay in, but you need to then factor in parking and travel to the park.

If you’re a member of the Disney Vacation Club, you can collect points for staying on-site in a Disney resort.

A lot of the Disney experience rests in the top-notch guest treatment that you get at the resorts and you can get great meal deals when you stay at a Disney resort.

You can also check existing confirmed DVC reservations for some good deals!

4. Pick Your Parks

At the same time that you decide on your hotel reservations, decide which parks you want to visit. Decide how many days you want to spend in each park and whether or not you’d like to add a Park Hopper option. This lets you jump between parks each day that you visit.

You don’t have to purchase your tickets this far in advance, but knowing which parks you want to attend lets you pick your dining options later on down the line.

5. Travel Ticket Time

7-8 months before your vacation, establish your travel dates. If you’re coming from far away, now is the time to purchase those tickets.

Popular dates and times fill up fast. You could always try to wait for a last-minute deal, but you run the risk of not being able to travel with your family members and there’s no guarantee that you will find a less expensive ticket.

6. Craft Your Itinerary

Around the time you make your travel plans, start to think of the basic shape you want your vacation to take.

This includes nailing down the time you’ll arrive, check in to your hotel, and what each day will consist of. Be specific about which parks you would like to visit each day, where you plan to eat, and which attractions you’ll see.

Don’t forget to make time for Disney Springs and other activities you’ll want to participate in while you’re in Florida!

7. The Dining Experience

Exactly 180 days before your check-in, you absolutely need to nail down your dining plans.

There’s a technique to this to make sure you get the dining reservations you want. Many Disney dining services are in high demand and as soon as Disney is open for reservations 180 days before your park visit, people are manning the phones in an attempt to get a good reservation.

At exactly 7 AM, 180 days before your trip to that specific park, jump on the computer or the telephone to book your desired dining reservation.

Don’t be too disappointed if you wind up not getting the reservation you want. There are some super high-demand locations that are nearly impossible to secure reservations with.

8. FastPass+

Now that you know when you’ll visit each park and where you’re going to eat, you can pick the attractions that are the most important to you.

Disney has an awesome system called FastPass+where you can choose to secure your place in line for different attractions.

You can only have a certain number of attractions secured on your FastPass at a time, but knowing which major attractions you want to see and when can help you plan your movements in the park each day.

9. Pack

Now all that’s left to do is pack! Make sure you bring plenty of comfortable shoes, sun protection, and a few extra pairs of sunglasses.

Some of the items that people most typically forget are medication, underwear, chargers, and hygiene products. Make yourself a list and pack ahead of time to ensure that you don’t leave anything important behind!

How to Plan a Trip to Disney World

Now that you know how to plan a trip to Disney World, you’ve got a basic understanding of exactly how complicated the process can be. You’re ready to get started on the adventure of a lifetime!

Many people find it easier to hire a Disney expert to plan their trip for them. There’s definitely an art form to planning and preparing for a trip to the most magical place on earth!

For more information on how to prepare yourself for a great vacation, check out more articles on our website!

Car Crashes and Mental Health: What Victims Should Know

Following serious car accidents, many victims sustain physical injuries that require treatment and a period of recovery. However, victims are also likely to experience certain mental health issues as a result of the accident.

In cases involving psychological distress, emotional anguish may be short-term. However, victims can also suffer long-term mental health issues that negatively affect their daily lives in a variety of ways. To help overcome these issues and recover both psychologically and financially, victims must better understand the relationship between injury accidents and mental health.

Types of Mental Health Issues Accident Victims Experience

There are a few types of psychological distress victims may experience in addition to physical car crash injuries. These include:

Depression

One mental health issue that affects car accident victims is clinical depression. This may entail the formal diagnosis of major depressive disorder (MDD). Depression frequently results as an extension of the physical injuries and pain and suffering following a car accident.

Some symptoms of depression include general fatigue, a reduced ability to concentrate, lack of overall enjoyment of daily activities, difficulty sleeping or oversleeping, feelings of worthlessness, guilt over the accident, or recurring suicidal thoughts. All of these and other symptoms could be indicative of depression and may require treatment with a mental health professional.

Anxiety

Car accident victims may also experience varying degrees of anxiety after a crash. While mild anxiety is common in the weeks or months following an accident, some victims suffer moderate to severe anxiety.

Anxiety following an accident could entail panic attacks triggered by stimuli, phobias pertaining to driving or riding in a vehicle, sleep disorders due to flashbacks and nightmares, or general anxiety. Some victims may also experience physical symptoms that accompany anxiety, including lightheadedness, headaches, nausea, muscle tension, or chest pain. Persistent anxiety, like depression, also warrants professional attention and treatment.

Post-traumatic Stress

It’s possible to develop post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after a car accident. In fact, the American Psychological Association has found that car accidents are the leading cause of PTSD outside of the military. While some victims may develop PTSD, others may experience a less severe form known as acute stress disorder (ASD), which lasts for less than a month after an accident.

Victims with PTSD may experience flashbacks or have regularly occurring thoughts of the accident, avoid certain people or locations that may remind them of the accident, or experience a general emotional disconnect that impedes their ability to enjoy life and build healthy relationships. PTSD may also lead to other symptoms including depression and suicidal thoughts, making it necessary for victims to seek treatment.

Recovering Compensation for Mental Health Issues

If victims have suffered psychological distress in any form following an accident, they may be able to recover compensation with a personal injury claim. Compensation may cover expenses such as therapy and medication, along with pain and suffering resulting from both psychological pain and physical injuries.

Following a car accident, victims need to seek immediate medical attention if troubling symptoms result. After treatment, victims may be able to recover the compensation they need to pay for medical treatment and replace lost wages.

Teach your dog not to dig up holes in your back yard:

As Boston Terriers have a tendency to dig holes in backyards, if your home boasts a backyard it’s important to train your dog not to destroy your yard with unnecessary holes. To train your dog not to dig holes in your yard, it’s a wise idea to address the root cause of your Boston Terrier’s digging problem, loneliness.

Most Boston Terriers will only start digging holes if they are left alone for prolonged periods of time. As well as keeping your Boston Terrier indoors when you leave your home, you can also teach your dog not to dig holes by ignoring it when it digs a hole and praising it when it spends time in your yard without digging up holes.

Remain patient:

As Boston Terriers are an intelligent dog breed, they respond well to calm, clear training methods. If you start yelling at your dog or become frustrated with your dog, you’ll find it difficult to teach your dog new behaviors and tricks, so it’s important to use a calm, friendly voice when you train your dog. If you notice that you’re becoming frustrated or short tempered with your dog, take a break and resume your training at another point during the day.

Use repetition:

Repetition is a useful tool that you can use to ensure that your dog remembers the commands which you teach it during your training sessions. Once you’ve taught your dog a new trick such as how to heel or stay, use your new command throughout each day for a few weeks. To ensure that your dog will remember your new command.

So regardless of whether you own a puppy or a mature adult Boston Terrier, it’s well worth testing out all of the valuable breed specific training tips which have been listed above.
